Understanding The Impact of Antisemitism and The Role of Allies, an Interfaith Gathering

March 15 @ 11:30 am - 2:30 pm

Join us for an interfaith potluck and interactive workshop to deepen our understanding of antisemitism. We will explore how it is being used politically and its harmful impact on everyone, Jewish or not. Together we will hear personal experiences of antisemitism and allyship, and delve into the role of allies in this historical moment.
About the facilitators:
Rachel Hannah and Amy Leos-Urbel have led groups at Congregation B’nai Israel and other settings around the Valley about antisemitism, racism, classism, sexism and other forms of oppression. Rachel is a former synagogue co-president and Amy is former co-chair of the Tikkun Olam (social justice) committee. Amy is co-author, with Cherie R. Brown, of the booklet “Antisemitism: Why is it Everyone’s Concern?” published in 2018.
