Layaali, an Arabic music ensemble, will be performing a special concert this coming Monday at 7:30 p.m. It will feature Syrian vocalist Fadi Jano, Palestinian qanun player Tony Barhoum, Syrian master oud player Kinan Idnawi, Moroccan nay player Mohammed Mejaour, and myself on percussion. While Layaali has performed with vocalist Fadi Jano before, this will be the first time that Fadi will join us at a performance in the Valley. This concert is not to be missed.
