The second concert in the inaugural Music at the Crossroads series will be on Sunday, June 4 at 3:00pm in the sanctuary. The program, entitled “Divine Mother: Poems, Tales, Songs, Flute and Fiddle,” will include poems and anecdotes of women mystics from the 10^th C. BCE to modern times. Tell a friend, bring a friend, to hear the meditations of these wondrously wild and wise women of the ages. Performers will be Carla Bee (singer), Sarah Briggs (violin), Robert Jonas (Shakuhachi flute), and Dan Shanahan (poet and singer). The concert is free, but donations will go to Safe Passage, a local organization committed to ending domestic violence and oppression in women’s lives.
