SUMMARY:Music at the Crossroads - Music for Flute and Piano
DESCRIPTION:The third concert in the inaugural Music at the Crossroads series will be held on Friday\, June 16th at 7:30pm in the sanctuary. Erin Dubois\, flute\, and Andrew D’Antonio\, piano\, will present a recital of contemporary chamber music by Arvo Pärt\, Olivier Messiaen\, John Ritchie\, and Viet Cuong. Dubois and D’Antonio began performing as a duo with a concert tour last year featuring new works for flute and piano\, including a performance at Edwards. Erin is a freelance flutist in the Boston area and teaches flute in Lowell\, MA and New Hampshire. Andrew is the organist at Faith United Church in Springfield\, and teaches piano at Bay Path University in Longmeadow and Community Music School of Springfield.
