Gospel recording artist Vanessa Willis will present a concert entitled “The Worship Room” on Friday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. This is the first concert in Edwards Church’s 2018 Music at the Crossroads series. The concert is free, but all donations will go to the Children’s Advocacy Center, a child-friendly house for physically and sexually abused children.

Vanessa Willis is a singer, songwriter, preacher, and musician with a passion for God and a heart for his people. She desires to reach the youth of her generation by promoting hope, redemption, and life through Jesus Christ. Her purpose is to teach people “the principles of being a worshipper, living for God, being passionate about it, being unashamed about it.”

The April 20 concert will feature Vanessa Willis and her band playing original songs from their upcoming album entitled “The Worship Room.” Gospel-inspired songs are interspersed with personal reflections and witness about her religious convictions.
